South Central College is proud to be a part of MN Reconnect, a partnership with the Minnesota Office of Higher Education and four Minnesota State Colleges.

This program is for adult learners like you, who may be interested in returning to South Central College and finishing your degree.

It’s now more affordable than you might think:

  • Increases in state and federal grants mean financial assistance is now available to more individuals.
  • Scholarships of up to $1,000 per semester are available for adult learners from South Central College’s Campus Foundations.  Apply using the SCC Minnesota Reconnect Scholarship Application Form.
  • You may be able to earn college credit for the knowledge you have gained in the workplace, military or elsewhere through SCC's Credit for Prior Learning program.

Who qualifies?

Reconnect was specifically designed for Minnesota residents who are 25 years or older, have not completed a college award/degree, have not been enrolled at an institution for at least 2 academic years and have completed at least 15 college credits. For additional information, see the Reconnect FAQ.
