The South Central College Foundations on the Faribault and North Mankato Campuses annually award over $500,000 dollars in scholarships each year! Funds for these scholarships are raised in a variety of ways including community-wide fund drives, faculty, staff, and alumni contributions, earnings on endowed funds, grants, and special fundraising events. Foundation volunteers work hard each year to raise funds for these scholarships, with overwhelming support from businesses and individuals in Mankato, Faribault and the surrounding communities. Supporters of the Foundations want to help SCC students succeed at achieving their goals! Depending on the award, criteria may include program area, work experience, academic achievement, community involvement, activities, financial need, etc. Awards range from $100 to full tuition, and all SCC students are eligible to apply!
