Learning Central Staff

Wendy is an Instructional Technology Designer for Learning Central. In this role she works with faculty to explore how technology can assist with learning outcomes, develops professional development resources for online and face-to-face faculty, and helps with the managing of SCC’s Atomic Learning portal. Projects she has been/is involved with include developing a 'technology stash' for faculty to explore using new technology in their courses, administering and designing courses for the Adobe Prime professional development environment, and developing resources for our online faculty knowledge base. Wendy also works closely with the Adobe Education Exchange as an assistant instructor and online moderator as well as being active in several professional organizations. These organizations allow for exciting collaboration and learning from which she brings ideas to the faculty at SCC. Wendy serves on the Learning Central Advisory Council, Student Engagement and Success Committee, and the Online Education Committee.
