The shortage of agricultural educators was the catalyst for the creation of a unique partnership between South Central College and the University of Minnesota. This “2 + 2” programs enables you to complete your first two years at South Central College and apply all your credits toward a 4-year degree in Ag Education from the University of Minnesota.  This is your chance to make a significant impact on the lives of individuals and a positive contribution to the field of agriculture.

Don Hermanson has been a part of the South Central College Agribusiness staff since 1996. Prior to teaching at the college, Don taught high school agriculture for 16 years.

Pete Neigebauer
Pete Neigebauer
Pete Neigebauer has been a part of the South Central Agribusiness staff since 1989. Prior to teaching at the College, Pete taught high school agriculture and adult farm management for eleven years. Pete’s teaching responsibilities include courses in Farm Business Planning and Analysis, Agribusiness Financial Management, Agricultural Equipment, as well as a variety of Swine Production courses. Pete has traveled extensively internationally working with several agricultural groups such as Cochran Fellows, CHF and Land O Lakes International, and Minnesota Department of agriculture. He has consulted with individuals from 20 different countries related to various production agriculture systems. Pete and his family live on a small farm near New Ulm, Minnesota.

T.J. Brown
Prior to teaching at the College, T.J. taught high school agriculture for twelve years in Springfield, MN. T.J.’s teaching responsibilities include courses in Agribusiness Financial Management, Employability Training, and Welding.
Education:Masters of Education and Bachelors of Science degree from the University of Minnesota, both in Agricultural Education.
