The human experience and how we as humans document it is an apt way in which to describe the course of studies referred to as the “humanities”. Humans have, for as long as can be documented, used language, literature, philosophy, religion, art, music, and history to comprehend and connect to the human experience. These expressions have become traditional subjects that fall under the classification of humanities. It is by studying these past and present experiences that we come to find a sense of commonality and connection to those who lived before us and those that we live amongst.
