Aspiring Artists - Join us for free interactive studio sessions! Studio 3:45 is an exciting interactive studio workshop series for high school students (and beyond) hosted by South Central College's Arts & Communications programs. The series is designed for those interested in Fine Arts - Visual Arts, Graphic Communications and Multimedia Technology. Each Studio 3:45 session will include three 45-minute sections when students can try their hands at each discipline. The studio sessions are free, with all supplies provided and refreshments served.
If you are interested in painting, drawing, photography, videography or graphic design, these sessions are for you. Expand your skills or simply learn more about these areas of the creative arts.
Thursday, April 20, 3:45 - 6:00 pm (Meet in C128 - Studio 5)
This month's Studio 3:45 session will be held in conjunction with the Annual SCC Graphic Communications and Multimedia Show, where you will see the work of this year's graduating students, participate in hands-on activities, and enjoy hors d' ouevres. Meet in C128 (Studio 5).
3:45 - 4:30 pm: Participants will start off with a Watercolor Project led by SCC’s Fine Arts-Visual Arts faculty.
4:30 - 6 pm pm: Spend the rest of the time taking part in the Graphic Communications and Multimedia Technology Show hands-on activities in the labs and studios.
4:30 - 6:00 pm: Check out the Graphic Communications and Multimedia Show student exhibits, see SCC's labs and studios including a new Photography Studio* and participate in hands-on activities.
