SCC Students Achieve Honors at Business Professionals of America Leadership Conference

(May 12, 2015) - Top students from South Central College attended the Business Professionals of America (BPA) 2015 National Leadership Conference, “Imagine, Believe, Become” in Anaheim, CA, May 6, 2015 – May 10, 2015. South Central College sent students from both the Faribault and North Mankato Campus Chapters and were very successful at the conference. 

The SCC Faribault Campus BPA Chapter students brought home five Top 10 Awards: 

Administrative Support Team 5th Place: Kaelen Kurtzweil (from Faribault), Alex Miller (from Faribault), Colleen Rolling (from Faribault), Joye Stallman (from Owatonna)

Advanced Word Processing/MOS Word Core Exam 4th Place: Joye Stallman (from Owatonna)

Fundamental Desktop Publishing 4th Place:  Colleen Rolling (from Faribault)

Computer Network Technology/MTA Networking Fundamentals 9th Place: Alex Miller (from Faribault)

PC Servicing & Troubleshooting/MTA Windows OS Fundamentals 9th Place: Alex Miller (from Faribault)

The North Mankato Campus BPA Chapter brought home 13 Top 10 Awards:

Business Professionals of America is a national organization for college, high school and mid­dle school students preparing for careers in business and information technology.
