South Central College’s Collegiate DECA chapter competed at their state Career Development Conference February 16 - 17. Collegiate DECA prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality and management in colleges around the globe.

At the event, South Central College students Haley Parker from St. Peter and Cody Melcher from Wells received the Student Service Award for their contribution to the chapter.

Students from across the state also competed in both team and individual events. The following students from South Central College placed in the Top 8, with several 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners. These students are competing at the International Career Development Conference this week in Washington, DC:
