Graphic Communications Students Showcase their Talent at Show on April 16

(April 2, 2015) Students from South Central College (SCC) will put their impressive work on display at the Annual Graphic Communications Show April 16 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.  The event will be held in SCC’s Conference Center on the college’s North Mankato campus at 1920 Lee Blvd. All are encouraged to attend.

“Each year those attending the show are impressed by the incredible talent coming from our students,” said Graphic Communications Instructor Kevin McLaughlin.   

The show will also include some work from the college’s Multimedia Technology students.  Graphic Communications and Multimedia Technology complement one another. The two programs share some of the same courses, including Graphic Software and Digital Photography.    

SCC’s Graphic Communications program, previously called Commercial and Technical Art, and Graphics Production, has been offered at South Central College since the 1960sMultimedia Technology is a relatively new program that was implemented during the 2013-14 academic year.
