The 26th Annual SCC Golf Classic is scheduled for May 18, 2020 (12:30 p.m. Shotgun Start) at the Mankato Golf Club. The registration fee includes lunch, dinner, cart rental, and green fees. Annual Fund Drive
Each fall, teams of volunteers from throughout Mankato, North Mankato and the surrounding communities reach out to area businesses and individuals to garner support for the scholarships and programs at South Central College. SCC faculty and staff participate in a college-wide fund drive each year prior to the start of the community drive.
Thanks to the generosity of our many donors, SCC North Mankato Campus Foundation awards more than $300,000 annually to deserving South Central College students. Each fall, the recipients, their guests and the scholarship donors are welcomed to campus for a luncheon and reception. See event photos.
Scholarships range in value from approximately $500 to a full tuition annual award. Funds are available to new and current/returning students. Additional application information is available on the scholarship page.
Savor, an annual fundraiser for SCC's Culinary Arts program, will take place Thursday, March 5, 2020, starting at 6:00 p.m. at Chankaska Creek Ranch & Winery. The expertise of renowned Chef Michael Broughten will be complemented by the skills of up‑and‑coming chefs in SCC's Culinary Arts program to provide our guests with an unforgettable dining experience. Slice Cut Cook, SCC's first annual Culinary Arts Cooking Competition, will take place January 31, 2019 in SCC's John Votca Conference Center. Come watch this exciting competition unfold while supporting the South Central College Culinary Arts program! We have confirmed an amazing lineup of Chefs and local personalities, which include Melissa Bradley, CFO of Snell Motors, Sarah Richards, President of Jones Metal, Dr. Annette Parker, President of South Central College, John Massad of the Massad Group, Lacey of Lola An American Bistro and many more! Four teams made up of a Celebrity Chef and a Local Personality will go head to head and compete for the honor of Top Chef!!
