The Nursing Program Application will utilize the ATI TEAS V exam to test academic skills which are indicators of readiness for success in a nursing program. This exam is required as part of the application process for the professional nursing programs at South Central College.
The exam consists of reading, mathematics, science and English and Language Usage. Each exam consists of 170 questions and has a time limit of 209 minutes (about 3 ½ hours). Each subject has a set time limit.
Practice exams and a study book are available on the ATI website. These are recommended not required.
We are in the process of scheduling the exams. When the test dates are finalized a registration and payment link will be provided following the confirmed dates. Payment will be handled by ATI and not SCC, therefore be sure you are aware that there is no refund for a missed exam. Once you register you are committed to the exam. You must register a minimum of two (2) days in advance of the test date.
Times reflect time to report to test site, check-in and get settled. Late arrivals may not test that day.
When registering please note there will be 2 options for each date. Choose ADN for RN exam or the LPN exam. All testing dates will offer both exams .

Registration and payment for the exam is made through ATI. There is no refund for missed or rescheduled exams. Rescheduling will require additional payment.

Day of Exam
Report on time for your exam to allow all exam candidates to be checked in before the start time.
Bring: Photo ID, Authorization to test letter, username and password, two pencils. Scratch paper will be provided and collected at the exam.
