Minnesota’s Child Care Assistance Programs (CCAP) can help make child care affordable for eligible families. Factors that are considered when determining eligibility are family size and income, adults, activities, age of the child, child care provider selected and cooperation with other programs as required. You can pick up the application at your local County Office or apply online at ApplyMN: https://applymn.dhs.mn.gov/

South Central College (SCC) Childcare Assistance Program

SCC Childcare Assistance Program is designed to assist students to pay for child care services during the period of time school is in session.

Minnesota Valley Action Council (MVAC) Head Start

Promotes the school readiness of young children from income eligible families in the counties of Blue Earth, Brown, Faribault, Le Sueur, Martin, Nicollet, Sibley, Waseca & Watonwan.

MVAC Young Adult Program: Eligible age range 16-24, possible services include paid work experience, career exploration, assistance to complete GED, scholarship for eligible career training options and other assistance.
