Now is the time to get all of your technology needs known to the Department of Instructional Technology! Please put in your work orders for items such as:

  • computers
  • software
  • web services
  • data needs
  • classroom technology needs
  • and anything else you can think of!

We will be busy this summer and need your work order to get organized! We have the admin area remodel, the Faribault health simulation lab project, major network upgrades, and computer lab upgrades scheduled. We need to get you in the mix as well!
Coming to us at the 11th hour at fall start up might be tough to get exactly what you need on time. So get in the queue now by submitting a work order!

John Horton – Presenter at MnSCU IT Conference
Congratulations to John Horton for his successful presentation at the MnSCU IT Conference this April. His presentation was titled “Improving the User Experience through Flexible Network Policy.” He spoke about how to provide a network to deliver applications anywhere, anytime, with reliable uptime and security.

During the presentation there was a discussion on the issues and options for provisioning applications easily and quickly using the LAN and WLAN.

Annual awards were presented at during the In-service training on Friday, April 6, 2012. Congratulations to all recipients of these 2012 awards and hats off to our Awards and Recognition Committee!
