South Central College is among the communities and organizations that was recognized at a Beyond The Yellow Ribbon proclamation ceremony held on July 27, 2012 at SCC’s North Mankato Campus. South Central College earned this special recognition through efforts to support veterans, service members and military families.
SCC recognizes the sacrifices our veterans and military service members and their families have endured, the special circumstances they face as a student, and the unique perspective that their experience brings to our college. SCC is committed to making the transition from military to college as smooth as possible and we strive to give our veterans and military service members the first class service and support they deserve. Special services include possible transfer of credit for military training, no late fees or registration cancellation for non-payment and the ability to charge bookstore purchases.
