South Central College is currently offering its Web Programming Certificate on-line. On-line courses mean flexible training schedules. Courses are project-based and instructor-led focusing on results and real-world applications. Students can pick and choose the courses they need. (Not all courses available on-line)
From a recent student email -- I want to thank you for this course! Even though I was familiar with a good portion of the material, I learned several new things I will find valuable in the future. I have an apprentice working for me and I have decided to enroll him into Web I and eventually Web II as I focus on the business more.

Want to learn a lot but have a limited time to do it? We designed a two-semester certificate just for you. The Computer Assistant Certificate can be completed in two semesters. (You can start with this certificate. All of these credits can then be used toward the Information Systems degree that can be used toward a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer and Information Technology.)

Linux Administrator - A 16-credit certificate that will give you the working, hands-on knowledge you need to use and administer the Linux operating system.
Web Programming - A 23-credit certificate that will show you how to build web pages from a programming point of view. You will learn HTML, XHTML, XML, ASP.NET, PHP, JavaScript, Java or VB.NET, and web server technologies: all of the skills that today's employers are looking for.
Information Security Manager - Information Security Manager - A 20-credit certificate designed for professionals working in, or soon to be working in a position where they are responsible for managing the security of vital information. The program of study addresses computer and network security, information physical security, personnel security and reliability, and continuity of operations. (An Associate of Applied Science degree in Information Technology, Computer Networking, or similar field of study is the minimum prerequisite for admission to this certificate program.)
Information Security Specialist - Information Security Specialist - A 20-credit certificate designed for professionals wanting to gain those skills required to work in today's in-demand fields of computer and network security, information physical security, computer forensics, and continuity of operations. (An Associate of Applied Science degree in Information Technology, Computer Networking, or similar field of study is the minimum prerequisite for admission to this certificate program.)
