With this degree you will be qualified as a computer programmer for web, personal computers, mid-range computers (Series i), and mainframe computers (Series z).

What type of jobs will you be qualified for?
This degree is designed to prepare you for a career as a computer programmer, programmer/analyst, database programmer, database administrator, technical writer, technical support specialist, help desk specialist, web designer, web developer, webmaster, and software tester.

You will receive a solid background in the basic concepts of computer programming, web page development, web server application development, management and maintenance of web servers, and electronic commerce concepts.

Students successfully completing this degree can apply it toward the four-year Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) in Computer and Information Technology at Minnesota State University, Mankato.

This degree/diploma requires 64 credits.
