The mission of the Student Financial Aid Office is to provide fair, equitable, and unbiased service to students seekeing financial aid.  For many students financial assistance is the source of funds to finance their educational goals.  Though financial aid is a resource for funding, it is truly a supplement as financial aid is to support only after the student and or parents' ability to pay has been determined.  That ability to pay is based on information received from the Free Application for Student Financial Aid (FAFSA). Students complete this or the Renewal FAFSA annually to determine the Expected Family Contribution. Please see our FA Informational Brochure and easy FA Checklist for more information.

SCC wants to help you realize your educational goals and objectives in hopes that finances will not be the reason you cannot fulfill your educational dreams. SCC gives out over $150,000.00 in scholarships each year. See more about Scholarships at SCC.

The financial aid staff at South Central College has over 50 years of financial aid experience. As rules and regulations change, these individuals continually train to have the information and knowledge needed to provide you with the information you need.
