I am pleased to announce that the Faribault Campus Foundation has exceeded the 2011-12 annual fund drive goal and raised over $122,000 to date! A dedicated team of volunteers made calls on local businesses and individuals in the Faribault area and our supporters, both internal and external, came through!

The Foundation has many loyal supporters in the community but a new source of revenue came from a cooperative fund raiser with the North Mankato Campus Foundation – the online auction. The Foundation also received Healthcare Pathways Grants to provide scholarships for students both semesters. Additional gifts from memorial contributions and one new endowment helped us surpass the $115,000 goal set last fall.

Faribault campus students will be awarded over $72,000 in scholarships for 2012-13 at the annual scholarship awards ceremony on Monday, April 30.

The Foundation will host an appreciation event for everyone who contributed to a successful year on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. on the Faribault campus. Refreshments will be served in the Academic Support Center and guests will have a chance to see remodeled spaces on campus and the carpentry cabin.

Thank you for all of your support of the Faribault Campus Foundation.

On April 25, 2012, the ART 180 – Digital Photo II students shared their talents by
taking portraits for the families being serviced by the CADA facility.

Six families were provided with digital images and framed photographs. The CADA facility provides safety and support to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault through education, advocacy and shelter.
