South Central College Public Safety Training Program offers various courses in Fire and Rescue Training according to your department needs.  Classes can be taken at the college campus or at local fire stations that are hosting a class.  Class hours vary. Some classes offered are: Basic Firefighter Training, 1001 Firefighter Training, Ventilation, Trench Rescue, Rapid Intervention Team Training, Confined Space Training, Hazardous Materials Awareness, HazMat Ops, Sys 34 training sessions, and the annual Minnesota State Fire/EMS/Rescue School.
