Academic Support Center
Academic support is readily available from the Academic Support Center. Three types of services are available to assist students with their course work.
Study skills improvement includes group mini-sessions as well as individual assistance with time management and study skills best practices. - Tutoring services include peer tutoring and staff tutoring. Tutoring topics include: Math, Science, Writing, Computers, and various other topics.
- Academic accommodations are available to qualified students who provide documentation of a disability. Appropriate accommodations could include: alternate format materials, note-taking, sign language interpreter, alternative testing, and environmental modification. Modifications and services will be provided to ensure equal access to all college programs and activities.
The Academic Support Center can assist students with the admissions process by providing alternate format Accuplacer testing for students providing documentation of a disability.
