Minnesota GI Bill
The Minnesota GI Bill is a program that provides post-secondary educational assistance above and beyond other benefits to eligible Minnesota veterans. Full-time undergraduate students may be eligible to receive up to $1,000 per semester and part-time students up to $500 per semester. You must apply for Federal student aid through www.fafsa.gov in order to be considered for the Minnesota GI Bill.

Federal Tuition Assistance
Students receiving Federal Tuition Assistance (FTA) through the military will have their benefit count as part of their financial aid award.  This may impact the amount of work study or student loan for which you are eligible.  After you have applied for your FTA benefits, please submit your Army Tuition Assistance Authorization Form to  SCC's Business Office.  They will then process your FTA for payment.

Other Federal Military Education Benefits
All other Federal military education benefits DO NOT count against a student’s financial aid eligibility.  Please contact the VA Certifying Official located in the Student Affairs Center with any questions regarding the process of your military educational benefits.
