Industry Credentials
The Auto Body and Collision Technology program at South Central College is an I-CAR (Inter-industry Conference on Auto Collision Repair) training alliance program member. After completing the program you will have:
- I-CAR ProLevel 1 designation (Refinish Technician and Non-Structural Technician), which is highly sought after by hiring managers.
- Ability to test for up to 16 more I/CAR certifications (16/I-CAR, 5/ASE.)

ASE (National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence) certifications:
- Non-Structural Technician, Structural Technician, Refinish Technician and Auto Collision Mechanical
- Optional independent testing can be done for Air Conditioning

Transfer Options
Once you have finished your associate of applied science degree in Auto Body and Collision Technology, an established transfer agreement allows you to apply your SCC credits toward a bachelor of science degree in operations management at Minnesota State University Moorhead.
