Save Lives in a Critical Career

As the most highly trained pre-hospital emergency care provider, the paramedic accepts the responsibility for immediate patient care. A paramedic must be willing to accept the demanding challenge of this care and direct others to carry out treatment plans. The Intensive Care Paramedic Technician program at South Central College is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) upon the recommendation of the Committee on Accreditation of Educational Programs for the Emergency Medical Services Professions (CoAEMSP).
