  • Live Virtual Tour of SCC's North Mankato Campus Advanced Manufacturing program area from 10 - 10:30 a.m. via Zoom. Click here and enter passcode "SCC" (all caps). 
  • In-person Tours of SCC's North Mankato Campus Advanced Manufacturing program area from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. - Get a free pair of safety glasses to wear during the tour and take home with you!
  • High school tours of SCC's North Mankato Campus Advanced Manufacturing program area scheduled throughout the day

Faribault Works on October 28

  • Faribault Works Career Fair at Faribault West Mall from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. with SCC admissions team members available to answer questions about SCC's Advanced Manufacturing programs
  • High school tours of SCC's Faribault Campus Advanced Manufacturing program area scheduled throughout the day

Career and Technical Education (CTE) Open Houses on October 26 and 28

  • Opportunity to learn about SCC's Advanced Manufacturing and other Career and Technical programs that prepare students for high-skill, high demand careers in two years or less

Learn Work Earn: Dual-Training and Apprenticeship Programs
Students,  you can start your career pathway in Advanced Manufacturing while completing a degree in Mechatronics, Computer Integrated Machining or Welding at South Central College. Enter one of our new Learn-Work-Earn dual-training and apprenticeship programs and work part-time for an area manufacturer while going to school. Master your technical skills and graduate with minimal debt while earning wages for related on-the-job training. High-wage employment opportunities such as Maintenance Technicians, CNC Machinists and more are now available. 

Employers find that apprenticeship programs are a proven solution for recruiting, training and retaining highly-skilled workers. They are a flexible training strategy that combines technical instruction with on-the-job training and can be customized to meet the needs of any business. By participating, our Partners in South Central College’s Learn-Work-Earn program strengthen the skills of their current and future workforce.
