Faculty Spotlight - Pre-Social Work - Transfer Pathway

Prior to teaching, Deb was employed in the social work field for almost 19 years. Here vast experience includes working with people with a variety of disabilities in many capacities including direct care, case management, hospice, therapeutic foster care and mental health care.

Wayne Whitmore
Wayne Whitmore
Wayne Whitmore has taught a wide variety of coursework at SCC, including Critical Thinking, Lifespan Psychology, Intro to Psychology and courses in the CSS program. He also served as SCC’s assessment coordinator for three years and guided the college through a successful accreditation process. With a passion for fair and equal treatment for all, Wayne worked as a rehabilitation counselor and insurance consultant before starting at SCC.
