South Central College (SCC) is celebrating Thanksgiving a week early on Thursday, November 17 with the Culinary Arts program offering an indulgent Thanksgiving feast with all the trimmings. The Thanksgiving entrée includes roasted turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, cranberry orange relish, roasted squash, buttered corn and a pumpkin cream cheese bar.
 
The meal will be served Thursday from 10:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. in the North Mankato Campus Café. The cost is $12 and will be available for dine-in or take out, with limited quantities available.
75 SCC students will enjoy the meal for free, courtesy of SCC Student Life.
 
During the academic school year, SCC’s Culinary Arts program offers breakfast and lunch in the college’s café, with a featured lunch entrée and à la carte items. As always, the general public is welcome to purchase the featured entrée or other food in the Café. The café is open Monday – Friday from 7:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. Weekly menus are available at www.southcentral.edu/menu.
