| Description | This course provides support for students taking ENGL 100 and must be taken simultaneously with ENGL 100 to further develop skills needed for successful completion of the college-level course. ENGL 0099 consists of topics including independent comprehension of complex academic texts, critical response to ideas and information in academic texts, and writing essays that integrate ideas and information from academic texts.
