Course Competencies
- Demonstrate the role of an MA in OB/GYN examinations
- Develop neccessary skills to obtain a Medical Assisting Internship
- Demonstrate the role of an MA in Pediatric examinations
- Practice tasks related to MA work within Ophthalmology examinations
- Apply MA skills as necessary in Otology examinations
- Use MA skills to perform Pulmonary testing
- Demonstrate the role of an MA in Cardiology examinations
- Prepare for minor surgery as applicable to the MA role
- Summarize skills that may be applied by an MA during surgical procedures
