Course Competencies
- Demonstrate the ability to conduct a comprehensive physical assessment of the respiratory system.
- Identify common respiratory disease, including their pathophysiology, signs and symptoms.
- Interpret diagnostic results relevant to respiratory diseases, including pulmonary function tests and arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis.
- Recognize non-respiratory conditions that can affect respiratory function.
- Apply appropriate respiratory interventions based on physical assessment findings.
- Develop patient education strategies for managing chronic respiratory diseases and promoting self-care.
