Description This course will examine the indications for mechanical ventilation, the underlying physics, potential complications, management strategies, monitoring techniques, equipment, and the process of weaning. It will also include discussions on advanced modes of mechanical ventilation. (Prerequisites: RESP 1220, RESP 1240, RESP 1260, RESP 1280)
