Pre/Corequisites
Prerequisite: Must be enrolled in Welding Fabrication Certificate or Approval from Instructor.

Course Competencies
- Demonstrate knowledge of how read the title block to ensure it is the correct print for the part.
- Examine the different layout of blueprints by comparing local company prints.
- Explain how to ensure that the blueprint being used for the part to be fabricated is latest released print.
- Demonstrate from reading the bill of materials that all the parts are cut, punched, drilled and formed to match the blueprint.
- Identify any special instructions or notes that are found on blueprints.
- Demonstrate how to read a blueprint by fabricating the part(s) to match the print.
