For High School Students
South Central College is also proud to partner with the South Central Perkin’s Consortium and area high schools to offer on campus career exploration opportunities for area high school students. In 2016, SCC established “Career Exploration Days” for high school juniors and seniors to explore the programs at SCC that prepare students for rewarding careers in a variety of areas. In 2017, South Central College and the  South Central Perkin’s Consortium created the “Career Navigator Program” to help students in their first year of high school start to explore today’s careers and learn about the academic preparation and technical skills needed to succeed. To date, “Career Exploration Days” and “Career Navigator Program” have impacted more than 1,500 high school students.
