International Opportunities
South Central College offers a number of opportunities for student to travel and study in a foreign country. We encourage students to take advantage of opportunities to see and learn about a different culture and country.
Previously, the Agribusiness department staff and students have traveled to Denmark, Guatemala, Brazil and India. The main goal experience agriculture in a diverse setting, but students took away many lifelong memories as well.
Costa Rica
Currently, the Agribusiness program is planning a study abroad experience in Costa Rica. Students will have the opportunity to visit a banana plantation, a coco plantation, a chocolate factory and experience local community development projects while staying on Costa Rican farms. Contact
