Faculty Spotlight - Ag Service Technician

Bruce White
Bruce White
Bruce joined the SCC staff in 1997. Prior to joining the SCC staff Bruce taught both high school agriculture and adult farm management. Bruce also has previous experience as a Farm Credit Loan Officer, as an agronomist, and in production agriculture. Bruce enjoys teaching students in the Service Technician Program in the areas of hydraulics, power trains and diesel injection.
Education: A.A., Worthington Community College - B.S., University of Minnesota
Jim Zwaschka
Jim Zwaschka
Jim is an alumni of the Service Technician program and previously was employed with Arnold’s Implement in Mankato for over two decades. In addition to teaching in the service technician area, Jim has extensive experience teaching in the Fire Training Program. Jim’s goals are to raise the bar for student performance, and help them develop all the skills they need to succeed. He places an emphasis on hands-on and experiential learning as many important life skills are learned in the classroom.
