2026 Fall Start Up Sessions

Start Up New Student Orientation is designed to prepare you for your courses at SCC.

Session overview:

90 minutes of presentations on:

• Essential technology like email, Microsoft, printing
• D2L - our online course platform
• Financial aid
• Services and staff here to support you

30 minutes to take care of tasks like:

• ordering books
• picking up your parking pass
• getting help with any technology issues like starID and email
• asking staff about any remaining questions.

Attendance is required at one of the following times:

North Mankato, Conference Center D190

Park in Green Lot and enter through Door 15. See it on the North Mankato campus map.

• Tuesday August 11, 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
• Thursday August 20, 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
• Thursday August 20, 1:00 p.m.- 3:00 p.m.
