Encourage students to develop the knowledge, skills, and attitudes required of all educated individuals.
As a college, SCC has developed an ICC Immersion Experience that is convened each May to assess a minimum of one ICC each year college-wide. As part of this experience, all programs at the college are required to submit artifacts of student work that assess a particular ICC prior to the end of the academic year. At that point, a group of volunteer faculty comes together for a three-day assessment session to perform the college-wide assessment of the submitted artifacts.
