Information tables at South Central College (SCC) are a benefit offered to local employers and organizations seeking to interact with SCC students. Employer table booking is coordinated by the Employment Services department and must be submitted at least five business days in advance.

Tabling Guidelines

  • Please utilize the tables for promoting opportunities that align with SCC's Job Posting Guidelines.
  • Designated tabling areas are generally in the Main Corridor near the SCC Café.
  • We provide one (1) table and two (2) chairs for your convenience.
  • Standard availability is from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, unless special arrangements are made.
  • Due to demand, there may be limitations on the number of tabling events for each employer.
  • Once your table is confirmed, you can expect a confirmation email. If not received, please call 507-389-7279.

Conditions / Requirements

  • To visit classrooms or engage with SCC faculty, pre-coordination with Employment Services is requested.
  • Kindly stick to your designated table, as indicated at the time of booking.
  • As a reminder, tables should be staffed throughout the duration of your booking.
  • To maintain a conducive learning environment, we request no amplified sound devices.
  • Direct selling does not align with the purpose of these tables, so we request refraining from such activities.
  • Distributing non-commercial items is permissible, but we urge caution with food and drinks due to varied dietary needs and restrictions.
  • At the conclusion of your tabling, please leave the space as you found it.
  • Tables are to remain in their designated areas.
  • If you have informative flyers you would like posted on campus, you may bring them to Employment Services for approval and distribution.
