Ag Meets Automation
With ongoing technology advancements, much of the equipment used in today’s agriculture industry is driven by automation. The advanced agriculture technician program combines courses in agriculture and mechatronics (electronics, mechanical and fluid power), preparing you to install, calibrate and service advanced equipment and systems. The result is a unique combination of sought-after skills needed by companies specializing in food processing, feed handling, grain storage equipment, advanced crop machinery, environmental building controls, and more.
Metallica's foundation, 'All Within My Hands,' in partnership with the American Association of Community Colleges (AACC), generously provides scholarships to Advanced Agriculture Technician students. Learn more on the Metallica Scholars page.
