An economics degree provides you with a solid understanding of how the economy works and is a firm foundation for a large number of potential career tracks like business, finance, teaching, and public affairs. The Minnesota State Economics Transfer Pathway program allows you to complete your associate degree at South Central College and then transfer to a Minnesota State university as a junior to complete the degree.

General Education and Transfer Option Programs

If you complete a Transfer Pathways program at South Central College and are admitted to a Minnesota State university, you will be guaranteed junior status and all 60 associate degree credits will count toward the related bachelor’s degree. Students must meet program admission requirements at the four year institution.  Talk with an SCC advisor for details.
