Laura Attenberger
Vice President of Academic Affairs

Laura oversees all credit-based academic programs, the Office of Secondary Relations, the Center for Teaching & Learning Excellence, and Library Services. Her service to SCC began in 2013 as faculty, and later department chair, within the Health Sciences division. In 2020, Laura transitioned into leadership, taking on the role of Director of Secondary Relations. In 2022, she expanded her leadership capacity to serve as the Interim Dean of Health Sciences and Career & Technical Education. Her tenure as Vice President of Academic Affairs began in 2023. She is committed to student success and community impact, advancing academic programs, faculty development, and responding to regional workforce needs. Vice President Attenberger holds a Master’s degree in educational leadership from Minnesota State University Moorhead and is progressing towards completion of her Doctorate degree in educational leadership from Minnesota State University Moorhead.

Judy Endres
Vice President of Student Affairs

As the Vice President of Student Affairs, Judy oversees student support areas including admissions, advising, registration, student life, social workers, financial aid and two federal grants, TRiO Student Support Services and Title III. She brings more than 25 years of experience in higher education, including the past decade as the senior student affairs officer at South Central College. She is a student-centered leader who has driven initiatives such as proactive advising, expanded tutoring, and holistic student support services. Outside of work, Judy enjoys fishing with her partner Mike, spending time with her grandson Brandon, and cheering on South Dakota State University—Go Jacks!

John Harper

As the Vice President of Retention & Outreach, John provides leadership in improving student and employee engagement that supports equal access in closing performance gaps. John serves primarily on the Faribault Campus to serve as the administrative official on campus. John has been with SCC since 2016, working in various capacities in student affairs, equity lead initiatives, and senior leadership. He received his Bachelor's degree in political science and Master's degree in educational leadership from Minnesota State University, Mankato. John enjoys cooking for his family and friends. You can often hear him discussing recipes with staff, along with his passion for music.

Katie Hewitt

Katie Hewitt has been with South Central College since 2014, where she currently oversees operations across the Business Office, Facilities, Information Technology, and Retail Services. An alumna of South Central College with an Associate’s degree in Marketing Management, Katie went on to earn her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Southwest Minnesota State University in Marshall. She is now advancing her education by pursuing an MBA with a certificate in Leadership from Minnesota State University, Mankato. She brings over 15 years of leadership experience to the college. Outside of work, Katie enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, socializing with friends, and traveling.

Susan Jameson
Executive Assistant to the President

Susan Jameson has been an Executive Assistant since 2008 and at SCC since 2019. In this role she handles records, correspondence and scheduling for the President, organizes Commencement and other events, and maintains institutional memberships. Prior to becoming an EA, she was the editor of several community magazines in Northern California. She has a Master’s Degree in Organizational Leadership from St. Ambrose University in Iowa and a Bachelor’s Degree in Creative Writing from Eckerd College in Florida. Susan has lived in Mankato with her husband Steve since 2017 and has previously lived in Virginia, Iowa, Florida, North Carolina, Minnesota, and California. When she is not on the job, she enjoys traveling, costuming, and science fiction/fantasy.

Jordan Orzoff
Vice President of Strategic Enrollment and Institutional Effectiveness

Jordan Orzoff earned his PhD in psychology at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Orzoff joined South Central College as Vice President of Enrollment Management and Institutional Effectiveness in 2023. His responsibilities include serving as the Accreditation Liaison Officer, oversight of the Institutional Review Board, state and Federal reporting, and institutional research functions such as dashboards and analytics technology. Over his career, he has also worked in the areas of student learning outcomes assessment, program review, and interprofessional education. As a faculty member, Dr. Orzoff has taught courses in psychology, statistics, research methods, and program evaluation. His research on interprofessional education assessment, entrustable professional activities, and assessment of graduate education has been published in journals including the American Journal of Pharmaceutical Education, Academic Medicine, the Journal of Allied Health, and Assessment Update. Brian Tiegs
Director of Human Resources

As Vice President of Human Resources, Brian provides vision, leadership and strategic direction for the Human Resource activities of the College, overseeing the recruitment, training, development, and engagement of talent for all divisions of the College. He graduated with his B.S. in Business Administration from Minnesota State University, Moorhead and has more than 20 years of experience in management and human resources and has worked in both the private and public sector. Seeing employees learn and grow in their roles and into new positions is what drives his passion for Human Resources. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his spouse and children exploring National Parks, hunting, fishing and woodworking.

Kelcey Woods-Nord
Vice President of Strategic Partnerships

As Vice President of Strategic Partnerships, Kelcey serves as a point of contact for local, state, national, and international partnerships. This includes post-secondary and secondary partners, community-based and workforce organizations, employers, and industry associations. In addition, she oversees the College’s work-based learning and employment services; grants department; Customized Workforce Education; Southern Agriculture Center of Excellence; and serves as the liaison to the South Central College Foundation. Kelcey has been with SCC since 2008. She holds a BS in Marketing from St. Cloud State University and a MA in Technical Communication from Minnesota State University, Mankato. A former collegiate athlete and coach, Kelcey's passion for volleyball, as well as time with her family and friends, fills her cup outside of work.
