As a Medical Assistant, you will be a professional dedicated to assisting in patient care management. Your duties are varied and include greeting patients, updating and filling patient medical records, filling out insurance forms, scheduling appointments and arranging admission and laboratory services.  You will also be classified as an allied health practitioner working in any of a number of different medical facilities.

The Medical Assistant program at South Central College is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (www.caahep.org) upon the recommendation of Medical Assistant Education Review Board.
